How do you manage the popularity and fame you have started receiving?

Fame is a changing variable, today you have it tomorrow you might not. All this love and recognition is from our Fans. So we should never act to be down to earth we should be. Everyone should respect every person; we are here only because of their (Fans) love. Fans inspire us to give our best.

Describe your career journey in a sentence?

I am Satisfied with the journey till now; looking forward to more nice roles and hope I just keep on entertaining people like this…

What do you think got you this popularity, hard work or the luck factor?

I think they both go hand in hand if you work hard but you don’t have the luck or the other way round you will see in both the cases you are not making any profit. So they both play equal roles to make a person successful.

Which would be your second career option if not acting?

You are never constantly shooting, there is always a gap, no matter how big actor you are there is always a break. So we own a Business, generally, when I go back to Amritsar I make sure that I help my daddy into it. So would be doing this if not acting.

The diciest decision you made in your career?

It was when I left Ye Rishta for Big Boss, it was risky but it was good that I made a decision and manage to sustain for 15 weeks in Big Boss, I became the finalist so the risk I took, paid off.

Share one happiest moment from your career.

When I got the best debutant (male) Gold Awards for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and many others are the time when I felt to be happiest.

When was your first encounter with the camera? Do you remember your first dialogue?

So I started my career as a model and later I did my first television commercial. Excitement is always there in front of the camera. I was not scared, I was nervous but once you first shooting you just forget all the nervousness and start shooting confidently.

Which emotion is tough to express in front Camera according to you?

In television you have to play various emotions in a day, we shoot around 7 to 8 scenes in a day so none of the emotion stays the hardest. So no matter what the scene is from sad to romantic you just get habituated to it.

Which Bollywood director would you like to work with if you got a chance?

I think there are many wonderful and talented directors in the industry, but currently, I would like to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Which is your favorite movie from Bollywood?

If you got a chance to time travel where would you go in time? What would you like to do there?

If I ever get a chance definitely I would have gone in my past like when I started 8 years ago in this field I was not sure what I actually wanted to do, things gradually felt into places, I did my course and then TV commercial, serials and have also done two movies.

So if I would have known this before I definitely would have worked more hard on my skill and a much better package would have come up.

Lastly, how was your experience with Mahima Makwana while shooting for Zee Music?

Definitely, the experience was very nice, we shot at Udaipur the location was beautiful and though I and Mahima meet for the first time the chemistry was good.
