Ashraf Karim is an actor who has been seen in many serials like Dil Ki Baatein Dil He Jaane, Nimki Mukhiya, and other. He will soon be seen in Star Bharat’s upcoming Show Sufiyaan Pyaar Mera starring Helly Shah and Rajveer Singh.
Sufiyaan Pyaar Mera is the story from the Muslim Backdrop and it is a love rift story, Ashraf Karim will be seen in a positive character playing the role of Jaan Mohammed.
Before Ashraf started his career as an actor he was a Bureau chief at Sahara Samay and also was the channel head of Sahara Samay for some time. Later he shifted into the field of acting. Ashraf said that” because I am from the theatre background and had also anchored a news channel, I was very familiar with the camera and I know acting so I thought of giving it a try, many of my friends were also in the same field.”
Ashraf further adds “I have worked in Dil Ki Baatein Dil He Jaane on Sony TV as Ratnakar Shetty, me character stayed intact with the story from the being to the end and in Nimki Mukhiya I played the role of a political Naheer Singh who is standing by Nimki just because of his rivalry with the opposition party. Later as the story goes through a twist the character (Naheer Singh) is genuinely taking an effort to help Nimki in her tough time.”
Ashraf Karim has also work in the Zee TV show Amma where he played the role of the Nayim Sheikh, Father of Dawood Ibrahim (Ashwin Patel). When asked about which was the toughest time in your career Ashraf said: “it is the unknown that makes you nervous and scared when you enter into a new field, you are bound to feel the heart-pounding out. I felt it when I first sat for anchoring, I had a question like will I be able to make it, but gradually I grow and develop. In television there is no character which is difficult or easy, if you have understood the character then it is easy if not you just do it but will give out no fruit”
