Digangana Suryavanshi reminisces memories as a child artist

Actress Digangana Suryavanshi who’s known for her south as well as Bollywood films like Jalebi, Hippi, FryDay among others, started off her acting career at the age of seven. The actress shares adorable pictures of her as a child artist, and we can’t help but go ‘Awww’!

Talking about her first-ever acting experience, she says, “I faced the camera the first time when I was 7 years old and I have continued to do that. It started off as fascination probably. I was so young and I wanted to be on TV. But my papa told me that I have to go to an audition.” Digangana mentions how her parents thought that her wanting to be on television was just a ‘phase’ but later realized that she serious about what she said when they saw her acting skills.

The actress did her first daily soap, Shakuntala, when she was just eleven. Shortly after Shakuntala, Digangana was roped in for the lead role for the hit television show Ek Veer Ki Ardaas… Veera. The actress then took a leap of faith and successfully made the big switch from television to films. The actress was then seen in films like Jalebi, FryDay, Valayam, Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale, among others.

The actress is currently waiting to resume shooting for her film, Seetimaarr. Digangana will be seen playing the role of a journalist who falls in love with her co-star Gopichand’s character.
