On September 25th, Billboard announced that BLACKPINK’s newest studio album, BORN PINK, ranked the most popular album in the United States. first female K-pop artist in history to top the Billboard 200, as well as the first all-female group from any country to reach No. 1 since 2008 (when Danity Kane’s “Welcome to the Dollhouse” debuted at No. 1).
