“Neeti Is More Of Today’s Girl”- Tanvi Dogra

Tanvi Dogra is seen playing the character of Neeti in the show “Parineeti”. Wherein recently we saw the promo and it showcased that Neeti is kind of turning into negative due to the major change and character transformation in the storyline. So recently we talked about the same in the show and here it is what she have to say regarding the same.

Talking about the recent promo, your character is turning into grey. What’s your take on it?

It’s looking good. This is the first time where I will be portraying such a role. Before this as you all know and audience know that I have portrayed simple and girl next door roles. This character from beginning is different and interesting as Neeti is very lively, free and quirky kinda girl in the show. So the shades of this character is very interesting and I love playing that. Writer is also very creative with the character of Neeti and they have faith in me that I can do it.

When the story begins, fans have already predicted the storyline. What do you have to say about that?

No! the thing is our story is clearly based on the storyline of “kabhi sautan kabhi saheli”. So we might be kids when the show must have come but yet I have not seen it. So talking about that show there is one girl who is very sweet innocent submissive and the other one is smart naive and does what she wants. Same goes with Parineet and Neeti. Pari is very cute, innocent and just girl next door. On the other hand Neeti is like jolly fun loving and takes action when required. So ya definitely Neeti is selfish and if she is selfish then she will not share her husband with anyone. Neeti is more of like today’s girl who takes stand for herself and she does not even know that Rajiv was married to Parineet from the start. So, what’s the fault of Neeti in this. But ya for Neeti her best friend is wrong in this case.

Since you and Aanchal share a good bond with each other now that you are playing Grey Character, so do you feel like what I am doing or why I am doing this?

Yes, we talk a lot about it and we laugh a lot. Even when abortion scene was going on we talked a lot about that as well. Pari is like Pari in real life and Neeti is not like Neeti but yes she is more like Pari in real life. So we laugh and say ” Hum kya kar rahe hai, ye kya likha hai aaj.”

What do you have to say regarding the upcoming twist in the show as you are portraying grey character in the show.

Yes, so if have seen the promo will reveal that only what will be happening in the show. So in the promo it is shown that we have to save our husband in 24 hours and Pari is trying to do what she can and even Neeti is trying the same thing. So we have this fight and competition that who will be the first one to bring the proof and who will be able to save their husband because we both believe in Sanju that he has done nothing wrong. We both are trying our level best but both of them don’t know what they are doing.
