How was the show launch? What was your feeling?

“I didn’t expect this kind of a grand launch at all. So beautiful! Yeah it just came out as a surprise, they gifted us with some real nice treats. It turned out to be an actual mehfil. Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta family welcomed us very warmly which was so sweet of them. It felt like we are sitting at our homes in comfort and jamming.”

How is this different from your other characters you both have played?

” Sayli doesn’t know how to sing in real life at all. I can do anything else you ask me but not singing. But because of Vandana, I can now a little bit. Today i realise that I can sing which I never knew. Now a days I hum a lot.”

We asked Mohit about her singing skills. Look what he said.

“As she said, she has worked really hard. It’s good to know that she herself as Sayli wants to sing for her character, Vandana. That’s a wonderful thing for an actor. But I just hope she gets time for singing being an actor and be immersed in it because singing really really helps you as an artist.”

“I think the first day was the last mock shoot. During a lot of mock shoots, we were comfortable while we started shooting for the actual episodes and it didn’t take us while. We have a common thing that we both want to do good work. Since day 1 we are doing whatever we do with our 100%”

Which is your favourite moment from the promo for the show launch?

“When Vandana was walking towards him and Kunal said wow. It is a great thing for us that Sanam and Usha ma’am have sung this song for us. All thanks to them, they both are wonderful. What energy they have! Thank you to them.

Sayli Salunkhe, on the other hand, is a rising star, a hidden gem in the world of acting.
