COLORS’ actors spread Christmas cheer to fans!

Harsh Rajput rehearses the role of Rocky in COLORS’ Pishachini and says: “Christmas is a thrill for me. I remember as a kid I believed in Santa Claus and waited for my presents on Christmas Eve. The festival brings back many memories. I love that Christmas marks the end of the year. I like to eat rum cake and meet up with family and friends again.

Tanya Sharma, who plays the role of Reema Narayan in COLORS’ Sasural Simar Ka 2, says, “This year has been quite busy and I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and friends. while celebrating Christmas. This festival makes me nostalgic. I remember singing Christmas carols, eating sweets, and exchanging gifts.

For my family, this year is about being thankful for life’s little pleasures.”

Rehearsing for the role of Manmeet in COLORS’ Sherdil Shergill, Surbhi Chandna says, “I think the festival and the time that I’m happy it’s Christmas. I enjoy the surroundings. I also prefer to travel at this time, be it in India or abroad. It’s such a beautiful time of the year.

My sister and I have been decorating the Christmas tree since we were kids. We used to hang socks on the tree. We’d get up until four in the morning just to catch Santa when he arrives! We thought he would come in through the window in a sleigh and with lots of presents. We would be happy about the gifts and are sad that we couldn’t get Santa Claus.

It took us a long time to realize that our parents gave us things this Christmas. My favorite things to do at Christmas are drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows and watching funny movies. It’s a celebration that takes a break from Learning and being together with family and friends. Like everyone else, I look forward to this time of the year.
