DID judge Urmila Matondkar reminisces her days of learning dance from the Late Master Saroj Khan

After receiving an overwhelming response to the previous two seasons that introduced audiences to some truly exceptional moms whose dancing skills can give even the younger dancers a run for their money, Zee TV has recently launched the 3rd edition of its popular non-fiction show – DID Super Moms.  Airing Saturdays and Sundays, the new season has an exciting panel of judges – Remo D’Souza, Bhagyashree Dassani, and Urmila Matondkar to mentor and guide the talented moms through their journey and help them achieve their dancing dreams.

The upcoming mega audition episode of DID Super Moms will have some amazing acts, and we are sure the viewers will have a gala time watching these super talented mothers dance their hearts out to impress the judges. While all the contestants put their best foot forward, it was Super Mom Anila’s dance performance to the song Crazy Kiya Re that caught Urmila’s attention. Although everyone applauded Anila for her mesmerizing dance performance, the act reminded Urmila of her late guru Saroj Khan and the actress went on to share her experience of working with her.

As Urmila Matondkar recalls, “My eyes were fixated on you throughout the whole performance. It was such a beautiful choreography, and it was literally like a bolt of strong lightning in the house. I remember when I started my career, I struggled a lot. I never learned how to dance, it was difficult for me and I never denied to accept that on stage. Soon, I started working with Saroj Khan Ji, I saw the ringmaster’s precision in her and she taught me a lot of things. Similarly, the most beautiful part of your performance was when I saw the same precision in your dance performance and how effortlessly you performed.”
