Exclusive! Aparna Dixit From ‘Woh Toh Hai Albela’ Will Not Be Seen Onscreen For A While, Here’s Why!

TV actress Aparna Dixit who is currently winning hearts in Rajan Shahi’s ‘Woh Toh Hai Albela’ for playing a grey character like Anjali who can cross any limits to separate Kahna and Sayuri (played by Shaheer Sheikh and Hiba Nawab respectively). However, the actress has been MIA from the show for a while now and lot of her fans are wondering why. Unfortunately, we came to know that Aparna has been down with chicken pox and she has been advised to take some time off from shooting.

We were fortunate enough to get in touch with her and this is what she had to say, “I had cough, cold and fever a week prior. I got a fever again few nights back so I thought it must have relapsed again, the fever did vanish though in the morning but I woke up with 2-3 boils on my face. I didn’t pay much heed to it thinking that it could be acne because of the weather changing. I came home from shoot thinking it was all normal until the same night my body started feeling itchy all of a sudden. As soon as I woke up next morning I could see red rashes all over my body and I showed it to my mom, that is when her motherly instincts told me that it is chicken pox.” She further added, “I made sure I inform the production as soon as possible about my health because I know I couldn’t step out given how contagious the disease is. I’ve been at home for 5 days and the blisters have not gone away yet, my body’s itchy and I have been doing my research on chicken pox since I got it for the first time in my life. I’m just patiently waiting for the symptoms and the marks to subsidize. The initial days were bad, I couldn’t sleep well and my body was too itchy that it was unbearable. Thankfully the itching is gone and it is slowly getting better.”

We asked her if she misses working on sets and this is what she had to say, “I miss working on the sets, its been days since I have not been working and I really want to go out and work, for me it feels like the lockdown phase all over again where you couldn’t even step out. But I guess it is for the betterment of my health as well as the people around me that I take the precautions and stay at home and heal. I’m just worried for my brother because him and I stay together and I fear if he gets the pox since he is an actor too.”

Well we wish Aparna Dixit a speedy recovery and hoping that she comes back to entertain the audiences as Anjali in the show Woh Toh Hai Albela on Star Bharat.
