Exclusive! “I Struggled My Way Through Everything And I Did All It Takes To Come To Mumbai By Myself And Pursue My Dreams”, Dolly Kaushik

Dolly Kaushik is a fine actress who makes sure to ace her roles in various shows. She made her debut in Sirf Tum as Nikita and currently she is playing Aarti in the show called ‘Kismat Ki Lakeeron Se’ that airs on Shemaroo Umang. We got in touch with her exclusively to find out about her stint in the show, her struggles before getting into the industry, if she wants to participate in Bigg Boss and more.

What made you accept the role of Aarti in ‘Kismat Ke Lakeeron Se’?

I didn’t take up any projects for the last 2 years because of the pandemic and I only wanted to play lead roles mainly, but now I am just alright with any decent role that comes my way. When they approached me for the serial ‘Kismat Ki Lakeeron Se’, I instantly said yes to it without hesitating given how good the storyline and my character is.

What is so special about your role that made you go for it instantly?

Aarti is someone who is very lively, cute and an innocent character, she’s a family person. Gradually everyone will start loving her in the show. She is a happy go lucky girl whose world revolves around her family, she aspires to be a fashion designer, she is the most selfless person you’ll meet.

What was the most challenging part so far with regards to your career?

One thing about me is that I do not dither to show the real me. Honestly I had no idea about this industry and I belong to a small town Faridabad, a city where people aren’t open when it comes to the industry. I struggled my way through everything and I did all it takes to come to Mumbai by myself and pursue my dreams. Of course the Covid period did become my obstacle but I didn’t let it bother me. This is not just yet, I still have miles to go.

Tell us your experience working in Kismat Ki Lakiron Se?

I am learning and growing day by day, I am enjoying my work and most importantly, the cast and crew have become a family to me since I share a strong bond with them. Everyone makes sure we eat, laugh and cry together and at the same time take care of each other.

Bigg Boss has been trending these days, would you want to participate in the show if you were given the chance?

Yeah of course I want to participate in Bigg Boss if I get a chance it will be a completely new experience for me and more so, I like the fact that I get to meet new people.

Do you have a message that you want to convey your fans?

I wish that my fans keep loving me and supporting me as always because their blessings and love is all I need at the moment. I believe in loving oneself no matter what so I hope my fans keep that in priority. Also continue to watch me as Aarti in ‘Kismat Ki Lakeeron Se’ at 8pm only on Shemaroo Umang.
