Exclusive! ‘My Right Thumb Was Hurting For 1-2 Months, I Thought It Would Fade Away But It Didn’t”, Debattama Saha On Her Injury

Debattama Saha is currently seen in Zee TV’s show Mithai, where she plays a bubbly character whose into the Mithai business. The show has been quite popular among the audience but most importantly, Debattama’s character is extremely loved. Debattama has always been known to be professional and hardworking, but recently she suffered a minor injury that led her to take a little break from the show.

She took to her Instagram story to share her plastered arm with her fans. When we got in touch with the actress, she shared how she got injured, “My right hand went through too much of stress because I had to work with the same hand the most because my character is such that I had to be energetic and everything. My right thumb was hurting for 1-2 months, I thought it would fade away but it didn’t. All of a sudden the muscle became tight and my fingers were locked. For a while I cant use my right hand.” She further added, “The pain fluctuated so much that I decided to go to the hospital and that is when I was diagnosed with ‘Severe Trigger Thumb’. I had to get my hand plastered and although I was advised to rest, I still continued to work given the schedule was hectic. Thankfully with the plaster, my hand is showing signs of recovery, the doctor said it should get better with two-three weeks.”

Debattama literally said the show must go on, no matter what, she will always give her 100% when it comes to work. We wish the actress a speedy recovery.
