Exclusive! Pankit Thakker, “Honestly Working With Karan Feels The Same No Matter What Show We Are In”

Star Bharat’s brand new venture ‘Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai’, a unique love story that revolves around a single mother with a young daughter who encounters with superstar Ritesh is soon to hit the TV screens very soon. It is very interesting to see how their storylines will take a different turn in the show. Produced by Sandeep Sikcand the show will star Karan V Grover and Sayli Salunke in the leads. The promos have come out already and the audience cannot wait to see what does the show have for us.

We had a chance to get in touch with Pankit Thakker who will also play a pivotal role in the show, he shared with us about bagging a new show, his character, worrying about getting type casted and more.

Congratulations for bagging ‘Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai’. How does it feel bagging a Star Plus show and working with Sandeep Sikcand?

It feels really great. I have been previously associated with Star for multiple shows. I am very excited to be associated with Star again and more excited that I will be working with Sandeep Sikchand for the first time. The story is so beautiful that I feel lucky to be a part of this show and I’m looking forward to give my best.

You are working with Karan V Grover again after ‘Bahu Humari Rajnikanth’ how does it feel working with him again, is it different or does it feel same?

Honestly working with Karan V Grover feels the same no matter what show we are in. Karan and I know each other for a long time but we connected with each other after working in ‘Bahu Humari Rajnikanth’. Even after that we stayed in touch no matter what. We share an excellent bond whether it is professional or personal. Our vibe matches very well and it shows onscreen. We synchronize with each other very well. I may have played his brother in BHR and now I’m playing his chachu in Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai but it does not change our dynamic.

Could you please elaborate?

Honestly Karan and I don’t see each other as chacha-batija. And my character i.e. Deep Malhotra is such a character that belongs to the older as well as the younger generation so it doesn’t matter what relationship we are playing onscreen.
