Exclusive! Paras Kalnawat Reacts To His Exit From Anupamaa

Anupamaa has been gathering a lot of attention at the moment for a fact that one of the cast members, Paras Kalnawat aka Samar got terminated from the show due to not adhering to his contract.

When we got in touch with Paras Kalnawat to find out his side of the story and this is what he had to say, “I wasn’t really happy with how my character Samar was shaping in the show. I hardly had any screen space or dialogues and I was always kept behind my onscreen mother Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly). I felt that I wasn’t growing in the show, that was when I decided to opt out myself.” He further added, “I don’t mind about the makers terminating my contract. This way I can explore more shows and build my individuality.”

Paras also mentioned that he will be taking part in the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, “I’m really happy and excited to start my journey on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, as I always wanted to explore something new in life. I have neither performed on stage in front of the live audiences ever nor did any reality show before in my career as I get conscious being on stage. However, I’m a learner, I believe this show will be a great learning platform for me. Through ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, I’ll give it my all and strive to discover a new side of me.”

Thankfully fans of Paras Kalnawat will see their idol onscreen again to showcase his dance skills. Ironically, Paras’s character in Anupamaa was a dancer who pursued his career as a choreographer.
