Exclusive! “Reyansh Is Almost Like Bunny From YJHD” Rakshit Wahi From Sasural Simar Ka 2

Colors TV’s most popular show Sasural Simar Ka’s second season has kept us engaged when it came to its storylines and nail biting plot twists. The audience has been showering their love for the actors who are portraying pivotal characters in the show. The show has seen a new entry i.e. Reyansh Oswal, Giriraj and Chitra’s youngest son, a free spirited college kid who is on the verge of getting married, but gets trapped between two girls, Ishita and Kavya. Played by child actor Rakshit Wahi, the actor has also be a part of the first season.

We exclusively got in touch with Rakshit Wahi, who portrays Reyansh where he shared what its like being a part of the second season, who is his favorite actor, his bond and would he be open to participate in reality shows.

How does it feel bagging ‘Sasural Simar Ka’s second season given the fact that you were in season 1?

It feels great to be a part of the second season of Sasural Simar Ka. I made my debut in the first season when I was only 10 years old, now 10 years later I got to be a part of the franchise again and for that I feel very fortunate that the makers considered me.

Your playing Reyansh Oswal, the youngest in the Oswal family, what are the similarities or differences to your character to Rakshit?

Reyansh is honestly an ordinary but free spirited college going kid who likes surrounding himself around girls, you can almost say that he is Bunny from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani who will soon get into a negative shade as his storyline proceeds. I am very different from Reyansh in all the aspects.

To play a character like Reyansh, have you taken inspiration from somewhere? Like anyone from Bollywood?

Yes like I mentioned Bunny from YJHD is one, I have even taken bits and pieces from Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan’s characters, since they are known for playing lover boys in various movies of theirs.

How is your bonding with your co-stars in Sasural Simar Ka 2?

Jayati ma’am and I have known each other for a long time since we both were in the first season. Well speaking of the rest of the co-actors, everyone are sweet and supportive. They help me out and treat me like their own family.

Would be open to participating in reality shows after your stint in Sasural Simar Ka 2?

I would love to participate in such shows. I would want to give it a go, lets see if the makers approach me then I will surely take part in one of the reality shows.
