Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ fame Aishwarya Sharma doing something special on Ganesh Chaturthi
Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the biggest Indian festivals commemorating the birth of Lord Ganesha. People celebrate this auspicious festival with great fervor and enthusiasm. Affectionately called Ganpati Bappa, the elephant god is considered the god of beginnings and the remover of obstacles. People bring the idol home and invite all their family and friends. This occasion heralds prayer, unity, peace, plenty of good food, and warm gatherings.
Mumbai is ready to celebrate big this time after two and a half years of Covid-related restrictions. The mood is high as everyone prepares for the festival. India Forums spoke to popular actress Aishwarya Sharma and asked her about her plans for Ganesh Chaturthi.
We were on vacation and Neil and I visited our family and friends’ homes for Ganpati darshan. We took a break and also came to the sets for darshan.
I hope to have the same kind of celebration this time and look forward to Ganpati Darshan with our families and friends. I wish you all a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganpati Bappa, Morya! – Aishwarya Sharma
Aishwarya said: “I am very excited and looking forward to Ganesh Chaturthi. The spirit of this festival is very positive and the fact that we will be celebrating the festival in its true post-Covid spirit makes it even more special.
There is a different kind of energy among people during the Ganpati festival. I remember last year we brought Ganpati’s idol to our sets for ten days and those days were full of positivity and love. We had a holiday and Neil and I visited our family and friends’ homes for Ganpati Darshan. We took a break and also came to the sets for darshan. I hope to have the same kind of celebration this time and I look forward to Ganpati Darshan at
places of our family and friends.
Wishing you all a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganpati Bappa, Morya!”
