Army, brace yourselves for an amazing thing coming true soon… This is the third year in a row that BTS has bagged nominations for the Grammys 2023. This is not it again they have bagged into three categories.

Ever since the K-pop idols announced their hiatus and military unlisting Army has become extremely sad but supportive in all ways possible. This incredible news has brought joy to the Purple Army and also the Bangtan Boys.

BTS fans rejoiced that their beloved group appeared as a nominee in two categories: for the “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” category with Coldplay & BTS’s “My Universe”, and the category “Best Music Video” with “To come”. BTS has been nominated for several Grammys over the past few years, but a GRAMMY award has been hard to come by.

Not just this as the members have been exploring the individual careers they have also bagged individual nominations. J-Hope for best songwriter and feature artist and RM for his Best songwriter.

The previous year Butter became their official nomination entry in Grammies with again 3 grammy nominations.

Coldplay had the most nominations in the category (five), followed by Maroon 5 (four), BTS (three), and The Chainsmokers and Florence + the Machine (two each).

“My Universe” is the second collaboration between two groups to be nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Coldplay was also featured in the first “Something Just Like This”, a 2017 collaboration with The Chainsmokers.

Three BTS members: J-Hope (Jung Ho-Seok), RM (Kim Nam -Joon), and Suga (Min Yoon-Gi) – are also credited as songwriters on Coldplay’s album
, so they would have been nominated for Album of the Year even if BTS weren’t on the featured artist list.

Other nominees for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance include ABBA’s “Don’t Shut Me Down” and three solo artist collaborations: Camila Cabello with Ed Sheeran’s “Bam Bam”, “I Like You (A Happier Song)” by Post Malone & Doja Cat and “Unholy.” by Sam Smith and Kim Petras”

Other nominees for Best Music Video include Adele’s Easy on Me, Doja Cat’s Woman, Kendrick Lamar’s The Heart Part 5, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift’s Too Well: The Short Movie.

The 65th Grammys will be held in 2023, on 6 February in Los Angeles.
