“I went through a complete transformation to achieve the character’s look,” says Vijayendra Kumeria, who plays Angad Singh Brar in “Teri Meri Doriyaann.” “I was able to create aesthetically pleasing clay pots out of real clay, authentic pottery tools,” says Himanshi Parashar of his preparation to become a Sahiba of ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann’.

The highly anticipated trailer of ‘Teri Meri Doriyaann’, a new program on Starplus, is now available. With fans waiting with bated breath, the creators have released amazing new trailers that are a never-before-seen avatar of a rap karaoke song! The fang rap karaoke song is a spectacular innovation in the GEC field that has never been attempted before and gives us a little insight into the lives of all the main characters of the show and their dynamics with each other. With the perfect blend of catchy lyrics, pulsing beats, and a sweet melody, the song breaks through the clutter in every way. Beautiful imagery from the super-rich world of Brar to the artistic, rustic world of the Mongas makes for a fun watch. Karaoke allows viewers to sing along and relive the story every time they watch. All characters: Angad, Garry, Veer, Seerat, Sahiba, and Keerat look unique and well-defined. The story of these Brar brothers and Monga sisters seems super gripping, and fans will wonder who will end up with whom? The characters and the show. While Teri Meri Doriyaann is a contemporary love saga, it’s flavored with a dash of solid Punjabi tadka. Complicated love stories have always fascinated fans, and here is a story that is unparalleled in its romantic twists.

About his character, Vijayendra Kumeria says, “I’m very excited because it’s my first time playing a Sikh character. I went through a complete transformation to achieve the character’s look. I play Angad Singh Brar, who is the eldest son of the family and a tradesman by trade, developed from an early age a propensity to weigh things up against money and time, and these two things are, in his opinion, the most important things in the outside world and the language of Money is the language that everyone understands. When it comes to his family, he loves them the most and will do anything to make them happy.

It’s the family realm where your mind and heart take over. As a perfectionist, he still hasn’t found a perfect match for himself.” “It’s a very different show to me, and the day-to-day off-screen experiences are interesting too. It takes a while for people to recognize me in the Sikh look and their reactions are something I enjoy seeing. I met some friends in Filmstadt, people who have known me for years, although they didn’t recognize me until they heard my voice.”, says Vijayendra.
Himanshi Parashar further describes his character by saying: “Sahiba is an artist. She has immense love and pride in her art and the funny thing is I’m really bad at it in real life! But I really do enjoy painting and making the most of the junk around my house to relieve stress, but have never learned to do it I’m not very good at pottery, making clay and mirrors, and even painting before I took them to teach me how to do it and that’s the best part!

When we shot one of our sequences in Ludhiana, I was able to create beautiful clay pots using actual pottery tools. They were quite big and cumbersome! I literally learned how to spin the wheel and hurt myself a few times because it was cement and so heavy! God, I remember I had such bad back pain. Our team planned to have a duplicate perform the skills, but since I actually learned a few steps in 15 minutes, they filmed me doing it.

This was one of the most memorable scenes I’ve ever filmed.” for the January 4 launch of Teri Meri Doriyaann at 7pm, only on StarPlus!
