Rutuja Bagwe takes on the role of Vaijanati (Vaiju), while Ankit Gupta plays Rannvijay. Reflecting on her role, Rutuja Bagwe shared her unique experience of preparing for the character: “It was a different experience to plough in the fields; it was something I had never tried and was new to do. To portray Vaiju authentically, I learned various activities and techniques such as ploughing, digging, sowing seeds, and most importantly, building a bond with the ox, Raja, who shares a significant connection with Vaiju. The challenges were manageable because Vaiju approaches every task with honesty and hard work. I was mentally prepared to work hard and learn new things to add accuracy and honesty to my character, Vaiju.”
“Maati Se Bandhi Dor” promises to be a visually and emotionally rich experience, highlighting the resilience and aspirations of a woman determined to improve her life and community. The show will air on Star Plus starting May 27th at 7:30 p.m., from Monday to Sunday.
