“I found my inspiration in Harmanpreet Kaur,” says Niharika Chouksey as she discusses who inspired her character FALTU.

Star Plus’ ‘Faltu’ is currently a favorite in all Indian households as they have an interest in history. The show is based on the story of an unwanted girl who pursues her dream of playing cricket and joins society & his family. Niharika Chouksey, who plays the role of Faltu, studied cricket for this show. While learning cricket, the actress had her own journey as she had to learn the basics and train hard for Cricket.

Speaking of which, she talks about Indian cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur and how he inspired her for her role in FALTU.

She says: “I didn’t know how to play cricket growing up, but for this role, I needed to understand the basics. And during this training journey from scratch, I found my inspiration in Harmanpreet Kaur. I love how it has paved her way in this career and she has reached important milestones. I’m inspired by the way she behaves and how bravely she stands behind her team. I love her for her determined approach and confident personality.”

Being a Star Plus’ new program Faltu is a standard-bearer that brings these issues to light and promises to be an inspirational story that is a very powerful one message to society about the strength of a girl.
