‘I’m in complete pain and trauma after doing so many rehearsals’- Gashmeer Mahajani talks about his experience till now on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
Gashmeer Mahajani who rose to popularity in Imlie and is now soon to be seen on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa talks about his entry in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and all the pains that he went through performing and rehearsing. Let’s take a look-
So Gashmeer please tell us your feeling about being a part of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
Well, I’m super excited. I’m in a lot of pain and all that pain is gone through by my choreographer and she sleeps while stretching I’m like hanging and stuck.
You have done like Marathi films and also were loved in Imlie and now you are doing like a reality show. So when are you going to get back on screen?
See I’m like I can’t do a daily soap for more than a year. So I’ll be back when I’m offered a good script and also I can’t do a show after a year because after a year the story gets a little off. So let’s see.
In this season we have contestants that are winners, so who do you think is a good competitor?
Well, all are good competitors and people here are very competitive. I have seen everyone is like I’ll win this. So I’m like this is going to be very tough. So it’s impossible to tell who will be a winner as everyone have their style.
Well from your Marathi film industry we have Amruta. What are you going to say about her?
Well I would like to learn from her and she has done many films as a dancer and I know that she is also here to win so, it’s going to be tough.
What was your reaction when you were offered jhalak?
Well, this is something related to my career even though this is a reality show. I’m very keen to be a part.
After your first performance, what was the judge’s reaction?
They motivated me and loved my performance.
During the performance, the performer gets injured and this is very common in any field, so how was your experience?
Well, I’m like this happens to me at all times. I’m like covered in ice packs all the time. So for an artist and sportsperson, it’s like an ornament. It’s part and parcel of life.
What do you want to say to fans about the show?
please the show every Saturday and Sunday on Colors at 8 pm.
