‘I’m very excited about this journey’- Paras Kalnawat is enthusiastic about being a part of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa upcoming season.

Paras Kalnawat was quite in a buzz lately about his quitting popular show Anupama and joining Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’s upcoming season. He is been very excited and ready to shake a leg on the dance floor. Here let’s take a look-

How are you feeling about the show?

I’m very excited about being a part of this show. It’s a big thing for me. First of all, it’s coming after 5 years, and also hope that my fans and viewers will love it. It’s like a dream come true as I’ve been following this show since childhood and never thought ill be part of this show. I’m happy to be a part of it since everybody is doing this.

Since you mentioned that you have been following this show since childhood, ever thought that you will be one of the contestants on the show?

No, never. I remember that I saw Sushant Singh Rajput who was a part of the show perform a contemporary act on the song Lukaa Chuppi Bahut hui from the movie Rang De Basanti. I have been watching that almost all the time on loop and I never imagined that one day I’ll be part of the same show.

We have seen you in part of many shows dancing before. So for Jhalak was there any specific preparation that you did?

Not only for the show. See as an actor all your flaws are hidden since the only face is visible but as a dancer, your whole body also carves a story, so I’ve been practicing a lot. Performing a dance and enacting a dance performance is a very different things. The kind of dance you people see is nothing compared to what is performed. I’m a competitor for myself and be a strong performer when the show ends.

Who do you think can be a tough competitor and whom can you gel with on the show?

Well, I believe that Shilpaji and I can gel together and be good friends, and talking about competitors I think Gashmeer is there and then Amritaji who are an exceptional performer and also we have a small girl on the show Gunjan who is a sweet and cute and a good performer. So many are there for competition so practice is in full swing.

This season we have Nora Fathehi, Madhuri Dixit, and Karan Johar as a panelist, so how was your reaction to this?

When I signed up for the show I was not aware who will be judging but now as I came to know I’m on cloud nine. We all have seen them dance like Madhuri mam and Nora and Karan Johar who is one of the best directors we have will be judging so I’m happy. It’s a privilege to have been judged by them and telling you what is lacking and telling you you have done phenomenal is music to ears. talking about the host Manish is a gem of a very loveable person. Even if he enters people have a smile on their faces.

Manish is a prankster as we all know. So are you ready to be pranked by him?

Ohh I’m toh super ready. I’m happy to be the laughing piece for people. Because of me if people smile then what is bad in it? I’m happy to be one of the victims of Manish’s pranks.

Keep showering love on us and watch my performances. Shower more love as this will help me stick in this show.
