In a fun and energetic collaboration, Vasudha teaches Orry how to be ‘Full-On Desi’, and Orry affectionately calls her the “OG Liver.”
As Zee TV gears up to launch its new show Vasudha, the channel has partnered with Orry to introduce the lead character, Vasu, through a lively social media video. Released yesterday on Orry’s and Zee TV’s Instagram pages, the clip showcases Vasu’s vibrant personality—a cheerful, spontaneous desi girl with a heart of gold, but not exactly a model of discipline.
The video begins with Orry brainstorming ideas for his next big project with his team, only to be interrupted by Vasu noisily slurping tea from a saucer, catching his attention. Intrigued, Orry asks Vasu to help him embrace his desi side. With her infectious energy, Vasu eagerly agrees, promising to teach him to be desi “Dil se!” Playful captions titled ‘DictionORRY’ appear throughout the video, adding to the lighthearted humor.
This collaboration brings together two opposite personalities—Orry’s polished, cosmopolitan flair meets Vasu’s carefree, traditional desi charm. The resulting chemistry is what makes the video pop, giving viewers an exciting preview of Vasu’s relatable, spirited character ahead of the show’s debut.
In the final moments of the video, Vasu announces her mission: to win over both the household and the heart of the formidable matriarch, Chandrika Singh Chauhan. Catch all the drama starting tonight on Zee TV.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Orry says, “Working with Zee TV for the first time has been a refreshing experience. Thanks to Vasudha, I’ve learned how to be full-on desi! We’re total opposites, so I wasn’t sure how it would go, but we ended up having a blast. Vasudha is all heart and spontaneity, jumping into action without a second thought—it felt like a wild ride. I’m excited for everyone to see what we’ve created!”
Tune in to Zee TV, Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM, to follow Vasudha’s journey!
