Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa 10: “Rubina Inspires Me To Be More Confident”, Choreographer Sanam Johar

Television’s biggest celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa made a comeback after 5 years & how, bringing some of the best faces together for this season. This year, actor & former contestant of another couple dance reality show Sanam Johar returned to the show as a choreographer for the star Rubina Dilaik & the two received appreciation from the judges for their very first performance.

While Rubina has a reputation of being straightforward & does not mince her words for which she has received flak in the past, Sanam believes he’s learning a lot from her, “I like how Rubina presents herself & more importantly puts across what is on her mind confidently. She’s strong headed & can unabashedly ask for what she wants. As an individual, apart from the fact that I meet so many people through my work & in a creative field, one needs to be outgoing, when you’re in front of a camera, I do fumble sometimes & that I what I want to learn from her. She inspires me to be more confident in the public eye.”

Talking about their camaraderie, Sanam shares, “Though personality wise we may be different, but one thing that is common between us is punctuality. I’ve learnt in our entertainment business, being punctual is a forgotten virtue but you have no idea, how much can one accomplish by just respecting & value your time & also others.”
