Kavita Banerjee will join Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi in a negative role!

Bhagya Lakshmi from Zee TV has been in the news since it aired for all the good reasons. Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti, also known as our own #RishMi, have carved their way into the hearts of audiences and become household names. Recently, viewers witnessed Malishka (Maera Mishra) abduct himself with the help of Balwinder (Annkit Bhatia) only to blame Lakshmi (Aishwarya Khare). The show has treated audiences to interesting twists and turns and for this, actors work around the clock to ensure their fans are entertained.

In the upcoming episodes, the show is poised for a high-octane dramatic performance, by popular Actress Kavita Banerjee.

She will be starring in the role of Rishi and Malishka’s college friend Sonal. She is the closest to Malishka and has come to help her so that she can make Rishi fall in love with her again. Sonal is someone who is very ambitious and will do anything to get what she wants, even if it means losing people who are an important part of her life.
Kavita Banerjee said, “That’s how it is Coming home this is my third project with Zee TV. Before Bhagya Lakshmi, I played a negative role in the shows: Teri Meri Ikk Jindri and Rishton ka Manjha on Zee TV.

I’ve always wanted to be a part of the Balaji family, and working on the production has been a dream for a long time. So playing Sonal in Bhagya Lakshmi is like a wish ticked off my actor wish list! Playing a negative character is extremely challenging and fun at the same time. Although I’ve played mostly negative characters on TV so far, each character was very different and so the challenge/fun never ends. I just hope I can live up to my character and that the fans of the show will love me as much as they love the show!”
