Kundali Bhagya’s Sanjay Gagnani takes up a new avatar inspired by Kartik Aaryan

Zee TV’s top-rated show, Kundali Bhagya, has offered some rather interesting twists to its viewers over the past few weeks. Sanjay Gragnani, who plays the negative role of Prithvi Malhotra in the show, has been the reason for several ups and downs that Preeta (Shraddha Arya) – Rishabh Luthra (Manit Joura) have gone through recently. While Sanjay has been having a great time shooting these topsy-turvy sequences and creating havoc in Preeta and Rishabh’s life, it looks like he took up an intriguing avatar inspired by a Bollywood celebrity recently that left everyone on the sets stunned.

Over the years, we’ve seen Sanjay take up several disguises for Kundali Bhagya, however, his latest avatar is quite interesting. For the ongoing sequence, the actor took up the disguise of a baba by adorning a sadhu’s traditional orange clothes with the apt accessories. As soon as he entered the sets, everyone was reminded of Kartik Aaryan’s character of Rooh Baba from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. And the actor agrees that he took some inspiration from the Bollywood superstar for Kundali Bhagya’s ongoing sequence. So, don’t be surprised to see Prithvi not only look like Rooh Baba but also acts like him. 

Sanjay Gagnani mentions, “I have taken up a lot of disguises for Kundali Bhagya, but this one was very different. The iconic character of a baba became a hit once again with the masses across the country, all thanks to Kartik Aaryan and while I have experimented with multiple looks with a countless number of costumes and outfits in the show, this was the first time I took up the avatar of a baba. For the same, I took some inspiration from our Rooh baba and I am truly having a gala time. As an actor, you get to play a different role during such a sequence and while it is demanding to adjust to the change, I enjoy it to the core. I try very hard to meet all the expectations, especially the benchmark that I have set for myself. Having said that, I am really happy that the audience has showered me with a lot of love for the sequence already and I hope they continue supporting me all my life.”
