‘Mother is a word that in itself is so emotional and beyond words’-Celesti Bairagey aka Rajjo talks about her journey till now on Star Plus with Udti Ka Naam…Rajjo

Udti Ka Naam…Rajjo which has been featured on television for almost a month now has gathered so much love and attention. The show features a girl who one day wants to make India proud by running in International sports events. The story resides in the Northern part of India where due to floods Rajjo is detached from her mother and now quests in search of her dreams and mother in Lucknow. We got in touch with her and she talked about her role selection and much more.

She said that she is still living a dream that she has bagged a show on Starplus. She was quite nervous at the time but worships her work with devotion. She says that- “within a week of my selection and mock rehearsals we quickly went to shooting. I had to work on my dialogue delivery and accent of a Pahadi girl. Also, we had to make sure that before the weather gets worse we must do things. It was quite fun at times.”

Being the lead Celesti Bairagey shares that she was supposed to do backflips and high jumps which were at times quite difficult, so the stunt double was used but she confessed that she did many stunts on her own except a few.

Celesti Bairagey talked about the sequence in her promo where the flood sweeps her mother off and many other residents with it. She says- though it was shot in Madd Island that was very intense and scary and shouting Maa!! Maa!! it gives you goosebumps and everybody can relate to that emotion the word mother is.

Talking about her character Celesti Bairagey shares that her character Rajjo is a very ambitious girl and doesn’t have many friends since she is busy selling fish to support her family.

The actress gave a little spoiler about the show where she says that soon the character will be seen in a different avatar and the character will get interesting along with the show track. So keep watching Udti Ka Naam…Rajjo on Star plus Mon-Fri.
