“Raunaq Reddy Is Complex Character”- Sai Ketan Rao.

Sai Ketan Rao is back with his new character as Raunaq in the show Chasni. Where he will be seen playimg many different shades to the story and how does this evolves around him and how he gets through the situation in the show. Also he comments on his previous shows character and how much is that close to his heart.

Talking about the character how much did you liked this character till know?

So, coming to the character it’s Raunaq Reddy. He is half delhite and half hydreabadi. He is Punjab for some specific mission. This character is very mysterious. However he is from outside the same does not go well with the inner emotions. He is very joyful from outside but from inside he has some kind of baggage. In his family only two people matters to him that is his own mother and sister.

Talking about previous show, do you think that your character is different?

It’s very different from the previous show. You will get to see that in one episode itself. It all depends on his personality, way of talking, how he emotes and everything.

What challenges did you had to face while getting into this character?

This is not a straight forward character. Raghav Rao was a character that whatever was on his mind he would say it on people’s face. But this character is different because whatever he thinks does not say. It’s a very dual character inside. Because what happens is you think in a certain way and you have to react in a certain ways. While I prepare for the scene I need to think a little as it gets complex. But once you practice it gets easy.

When promo was released what was your friend’s and family’s reaction?

Friends and family have always supported me. Not only for this show but from the start of my journey. But yes Fans want to see more of me because, they have been missing me from one and a half year. After Raghav Rao and ‘Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali’ everyone had loved the show. This show was not only telecasted in India but overall in the world. So all of the fans are eager to watch me on television. Let’s see how does the show goes.

What was your reason for being a part of such show which is women oriented, was it the story line or the character?

The Character of Raunaq Reddy attracted me. Also the way Sandip Sir has explained me the story and the narration was too good. Have worked with Sandip sir, so we have that respect and dignity and will do it again.

What was your first impression on your co-actors?

First impression was very casual and we don’t get time to interact with each other. We come on set and quickly get ready for the scenes. First impression was full of hustle only. Now also it’s casual hi hello and byee goodnight only. We are very much into the scene we don’t get anytime.

What would you like to say to your fans?

Firstly, i want to say to my fans that they have always been my integral part. I think they are my long distance family who are always being there and supporting me. I think I am blessed because wherever I am because of my fans. Also, they will see me in many different projects ahead in future.
