“Sa Re Ga Ma envisions all that is needed in a video”, Shruti Rane talks about her upcoming song ‘Sajna Hai Mujhe’

Shruti Rane who is a popular singer for generations has set a beautiful foot into the music industry. She has sung many songs and featured in many music videos but this time she has set a foundation stone by re-remix a popular 70s song that is quite popular for that generation and the 2000s remix era. We got in touch with her and she shared some inspiring experiences in the music industry.

Tell us how did you get this opportunity and how does it feel?

I’m very happy to be singing this popular song. I’ve literary sung these old songs in my childhood. The first ever song that I sang was of Lataji. I used to listen to these songs on CDs and cassettes. I sang my first song for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa which was Doo Ghuntt that has now reached 80 million views or maybe more. I guess life has come to a full circle and has given me this opportunity.

Have you ever thought in your childhood that you would grown up and sing these iconic songs for the audiences?

It never came into my mind that I will be ever singing these songs as a professional singer. I would grow up and listen to these songs but little did I know that the young me would lend her voice to these iconic remixes.

How was your bonding with Anjali Arora while shooting for the song?

She is so fun to work with. I liked how she was very much serious about the music video and the way it needs to be in terms of the choreography or improvising some scenes here and there. I noticed she has that sweet side mixed with that sexiness. She did a great job in the music video also and she looks stunning. It really had a great time with that girl.

Being the diva you are, we have noticed you work with divas being the diva you are. How does that happen?

Sa Re Ga Ma has that vision when it comes to working on songs and choosing the right celebrities. They envision the image they need and the product is just amazing. I’m always into old songs and I love to bring that magic of modern touch to them.

Would you like to give any spoilers about your upcoming music videos or songs that your fans should know about?

Well I do have few projects coming up that I would want to let my fans know. One of my music videos will be out on 11th October that goes by the name ‘Hayy Hayy Yeh Majboori’ which will feature the diva Urfi Javed in it. I can’t wait for the audiences to watch Urfi’s magic and my voice supporting it.

Anything that you would like to say to your fans?

I’m grateful for all my fans and well wishers who constantly shower love for me on my social media accounts and in person. I read all the comments on my Instagram and I’m hoping the love and support stays constant. I have more projects coming soon where I will be singing and will be featuring in the music videos, I’m hoping the fans look forward for it like they always do.
