The new season of Reacher is based on the best-selling novel Bad Luck and Trouble by Lee Child
By Skydance Television and Paramount Television Studios today announced the signing of a key cast for the second season of Reacher, the action-packed drama series starring Alan Ritchson in the title role of Jack Reacher. The cast for season two, announced today, is series stars Serinda Swan, Ferdinand Kingsley, and Rory Cochrane, with guest star Domenick Lombardozzi. Also joining the cast are Luke Bilyk, Dean McKenzie, Edison Morales, Andres Collantes, Shannon Kook-Chun, Ty Victor Olsson,
Josh Blacker and Al Sapienza. As previously announced, Maria Sten will return for season two, while Frances Neagley and Shaun Sipos will play David O’Donnell. Filming begins this month.
Based on the eleventh book of Lee Child’s worldwide hit series Bad Luck and Trouble, season two begins when members of Reacher’s old military unit turn up dead. Reacher has only one thing on his mind: revenge.
The cast announced today includes: Serinda Swan has been cast as Karla Dixon. Along with O’Donnell, Dixon served with Reacher in the Army Special Investigators Unit. She is an extremely intelligent Private Investigator who has no problem holding her own in a match against men much taller than her.
Ferdinand Kingsley was cast as A.M. It’s what Homeland Security calls a “ghost”; works under different aliases and can apply to any nationality. Money is his only motivation and he will work for the highest bidder.
Rory Cochrane was cast as Shane Langston. He’s a shrewd former NYPD detective with a questionable record who is now chief of security for a private defense contractor.
Domenick Lombardozzi was cast as Guy Russo. He’s a badass NYPD detective investigating a case involving several of Reacher’s former Army friends.
Ty Victor Olsson was cast as a Salopian. A brutal professional killer was accused of following members of Reacher’s former elite military unit.
Luke Bilyk as Calvin Franz, Dean McKenzie as Stan Lowery, Edison Morales as Manuel Orozco, Andres Collantes as Jorge Sánchez, and Shannon Kook-Chun as Tony Swan.
Reacher has been renewed for a second season three days after its adrenaline-pumping debut on Prime Video. Reacher has a global audience the size of Jack Reacher and is among the top five most watched series on Prime Video in the US and worldwide.
The first season of Reacher was one of the most watched original series ever to be seen on Prime Video. Many fans devoured all eight episodes within the first 24 hours of release.
