“They auditioned over 130 girls before they cast me as Ghazal,” revealed Richa Rathore after watching Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua

After presenting several stories that have wonderfully resonated with Indian audiences such as “Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan” and “Teri Meri Ikk Jindri”, Zee TV and LSD Productions have teamed up again to bring viewers a new Story Presenting Fictional Offering: “Rabb Se Hai Dua” Set against the backdrop of Old Delhi, the show focuses on the journey of Dua, who is married to Haider. 

With a pure soul and a very simple girl, Dua feels extremely blessed and grateful for what she believes to be the perfect married life, until one day Haider confesses to her that he has fallen in love with another woman. He seeks Dua’s permission to marry her and she is devastated. Whether Dua will grant Haider’s wish or fulfill her husband’s request for a second marriage and confirm the correct interpretation of the Quran Kareem, which explains the circumstances justifying a second marriage, is at the heart of this compelling narrative.

As we all know, Aditi Sharma will play the role of Dua and Karanvir Sharma will play the role of Haider, popular actress Richa Rathore will play the role of Ghazal. Ghazal is someone who believes in the life mantra “You only live once”. In fact, she is a rebel who doesn’t believe in the rules of society and has a modern outlook on life. She is madly in love with Haider and confident that love knows no bounds, but whether she will marry him remains to be seen as he is already married to Dua die Zee Kutumb once more.

When I first came to Mumbai in 2018, I was working on Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and that was my first TV show. I have a very special bond with the station and am very happy to be back on the station with a show like Rabb Se Hai Dua. I play the role of Ghazal, a free-spirited girl who is sophisticated and loves to live her life on her own terms. She is a modern girl who does not believe in society’s rules and prejudices. A hopeless romantic, she thinks there are no borders when it comes to love.

She is a strong and stubborn girl and she knows very well what she wants from life.” She further added: “I was in Shimla when I was offered this role. When I got the role, I knew they had been auditioning for Ghazal for a long time. In fact, they auditioned over 130 girls before casting me as Ghazal. To be honest I was pretty flattered, overwhelmed, and grateful for everything. I’m sure it will be interesting for viewers to see Ghazal’s journey on the show.”
