&TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan celebrates the completion of 900 episodes!
&TV’s Gharelu comedy show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan has completed its 900 episodes. The show chronicles the antics of Daroga Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi), his Dabangg Dulhaniya Rajesh (Kamna Pathak), a stubborn mother, Katori Amma (Himani Shivpuri), and their infamous nine children who have successfully entertained audiences with his rib prints. To celebrate their success, the entire team cut the cake on the sets. Speaking of completing 900 episodes, Yogesh Tripathi, aka Daroga Happu Singh says, “It’s not easy to make someone laugh and comedy is considered the most difficult genre. I feel fortunate to be part of a show that always managed to tickle viewers’ funny bones.
Happu Ki Ultan Paltan gave me a chance and rewarded me as an actor, but the character’s popularity also made me a household name. Wherever I go, my fans call me “Arre Dada”. I’m proud when fans across the country call me Happu instead of Yogesh. During my recent trip to Varanasi for Dev Deepawali with Kamna, I decided to explore a city like Yogesh. However, I was surprised at how many people recognized me without my costume and insisted on taking selfies while telling me how much they enjoyed our show.
Reaching another milestone by completing 900 episodes is a testament to the hard work of the team. Darshakon ne hampar apna jo pyaar nyochavar kiya unka bhaut shukriya!
Kamna Pathak aka Rajesh Happu Singh adds, “I can’t thank my fans enough for helping us hit another benchmark. Completing 900 episodes shows the hard work of the entire creative and support team to bring audiences one of the best comedy shows ever. Speaking about the show and its success, I have
memories from the first time I saw myself as Rajesh. I was nervous and excited at the same time. It’s been a wonderful journey so far and I hope it continues forever.” Himani Shivpuri, also known as Katori Amma, says, “I want to thank the entire team for their endless efforts in making our audience laugh. I’m with the audience grateful for his love and respect for Katori Amma. That kind of success gives artists a sense of accomplishment.
Congratulations to the channel and our producers on reaching 900 episodes and I can’t wait to cut a 1000-episode cake.” Keep watching your favorite Happu Ki Ultan Paltan that everyone Airs Monday through Friday at 10:00 p.m. only on &TV!
