“Who hasn’t experienced a heartbreak.” – Debattama Sah

Finally we have a great chit chat with Debattama Saha, the wonderful singer, our very own Anokhi and mainly who has just worked with Kartik Aaryan in Shehzada as his sister. We always adore her and love her work be it in a song, music video, TV show or a movie. She always amazes everyone by her work and always the audience waits for her new project. So now she speaks with us over a telephonic interview about her latest project Raanjhana which is a heartbreak song. Lets get into it.

FIrst of all we ask her about the response been to her song, Raanjhana since it’s been days of it’s release.

She replies,”so far so good, Touchwood. I’m really glad seriously because many emotions have been portrayed and it’s not like many shots have been taken so that it doesn’t look fixated, much energy and hard work has been put for people to like it. I’m really glad that people are really liking it. The response is really good.”

Raanjhana is a heartbreak song. So why heartbreak?

She giggles and says,” So heartbreak has been in everyone’s lives for sure, the one who made the song must have also made the song for the heartbroken people.” and continues laughing. Also adds,”but lyrics are as such that you can figure it out. SO when I heard the song I could also relate myself to the song. Heartbreak happens to everyone so yeah I related to it and made sure it feels real enough to people and audience as well by giving my best.”

You also related to the song, How did you find it relatable?

Okay! Like I said everyone has experienced a heartbreak atleast once when there are situations such in front of you. Ofcourse I’m not going to disclose, no one would actually be willing to open up about their past but yes in the past something happens and you don’t talk about it. Somehow the song is relatable and I enjoyed singing it as well.

Have you gone through the comments? What do you have to say about that?

Yes yes. Definitely, it’s really nice and you know it feels really good when you can give out to people the hard work you have worked for and the lyrics are also so good and people love it and that is important.

In the comment section, always there is mention of Anokhi as well, what do you have to say about that?

She laughs,”I’m so happy because you know what you do something like you work for something and that is remembered after so long also so that is really great because it basically appreciates your work. I’m really glad because I found such good opportunities in life and people also to work with until now who support me so thankful to everyone.

How was it to work with Kartik Aaryan in Shehzada?

Okay so working with him has been really great. He is a professional and it was just a wonderful experience. I haven’t had much of a conversation or an interaction with him during the shoot but how much ever I have noticed and seen his work, I felt really nice.

Any scene or part you remember you have enjoyed shooting of the movie?

Oh! the thing is when I was shooting for the scenes, so for instance if there are five shots so he has to be different in each and every take although there weren’t so many takes but just an instance so I had to tell myself that Debattama do not laugh. So it was all fun during the shoot too.

Will you be seen in Television show if you get a chance because there are rumours of you being in other TV shows?

She giggles yet again,”Yes why not! I’ll gladly do a television show if I get a chance once again . I’m looking forward to something really great in the future. And let’s see I’m exploring right now. I’m waiting for something really amazing.”

Debattama’s dream role?

You know what when dream role question is asked to me my answer before used to be different but now my perception is changes of a dream role. Like I used to say rebel, but if you see which I realised after certain interviews and action scenes, I have always been a rebel like all my characters have been rebel enough so be it Anokhi, Nisha, Mithaai. So rebel i would say but it feels really nice and satisfying that I could play such rebel roles. So if you ask me one then actually there would be many. I like to explore.

Lastly, message to your fans and viewers about your upcoming projects?

All I want to ask is for their blessings and hope they like and love my work and my projects. There are certain projects ahead of me won’t reveal now but definitely will update everyone accordingly. I like ot explore and I hope they like and I get to entertain them as always.
